Peer2Peer computing is seeing a revival. Holger discusses recent examples of successful and upcoming P2P technologies, contrasting it to existing cloud-centered services. He argues that P2P is harder to get right from the development side, but promises to provide more efficiency and privacy for digital communications. He goes on to list projects of interests for doing more P2P-style projects and looks at how Python could fit in as part of new platforms.
