OpenStack is one of the most high profile python projects in existence today. It aims to bring an open and massively scalable cloud operating system to everybody and has been called the “linux of the cloud”.

• nova API session (compute)
• swift API session (storage)
• python client bindings for the APIs above
• cloud architecture best practices
• exercises: e.g. write a python program that starts an instance running apache and loads a page from cloud storage.
